What's in My Makeup Bag? // March 2017

17:30

I last wrote a What's in My Makeup Bag? last year, when I delved into my entire collection of makeup! Some of these products, I still have because I don't use them regularly, whilst some have been changed completely.

I don't know about you, but I really quite like it when I see other people's blog posts about what's in their makeup bag's. I mean, I am quite a nosey but I also sometimes take some inspiration from them.

I haven't got many high-end products in my makeup bag, I wish I had, but I honestly can't afford them, not just yet. I'm starting to create a wish list of the products I really want to have hold of eventually!

Here's what's currently in my makeup bag this March:

NYX Studio Perfect Photo-Loving Primer - this is still one of my favourites as I mentioned in my Everyday Makeup! And I now can't wear foundation without having a primer underneath! I'm really loving NYX as a drugstore brand!

Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation - definitely an all time favourite foundation of mine! It's going to be in my collection for a long time coming. I love the lightweight feel of it and the coverage on my skin. I don't wear a concealer (mainly because I haven't found a good one, any recommendations welcome!!) so this does well in covering up everything.

NYX Finishing Powder, Translucent - It's a great setting powder and gets rid of any shine! It's made of mineral silica powder. The white colour, goes on neutral gives a radiant and luminous look. A little goes a long, long way!

Maybelline Master Sculpt - I'm still trying to master the art, though I'm getting there slowly with it! I love this one as it doesn't make me look too orange! Is there any other contour kits I should try?

Clinique Cheek Pop I'm still loving the Clinique cheek pop! It's a gorgeous colour and my go to blush!

Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer - I can't wear eyeshadow without wearing this primer underneath - I've also heard that the NYX one is good too, so once this runs out, I'll probably hop over to NYX! But it helps the shadow keep the pigment in place all day!

NYX Tinted Brow Mascara - I love the way this makes my brows look - no doubt about it!

W7 In the Nude, Natural Nudes - Urban Decay Naked Palette dupe, (which I do want eventually pleeeease!) highly pigmented and blend easily! I often apply either Angel or Copper Pot across the whole of my lid then apply Bad Manners to the outer corners and blend. (Excuse my awful hand - but the colours I have mentioned are the ones on my hands - left to right! Angel has disappeared, but it's there!) They are very glittery colours, which I love more than matte!

Bourjois Liner Feutre -  I love this eyeliner as it's easy to use (it's like a pen so easy to control) and long lasting when you want to create the flick!

Urban Decay Perversion - It's not pictured!! I do like this mascara but I have trouble with whatever mascara I wear, with it ending up walking down my face! So please if you have any tips to stop this or which mascara is the best for this, it would be much appreciated!!

Now, I'm actually quite terrible at putting on lipstick! I don't wear lipliner and I need someone to teach me to put lipstick on pleeeeease! Plus my lips are always really dry, so it just looks a bit dodgy! Please, any beauty bloggers out there, can I have some tips?

NYX Lip Primer - I got this for Christmas, and I really love it! It does keep my lipstick on for a bit longer and stops it from bleeding!

NYX Extra Creamy Round Lipstick Minimalism - I love the feel of this on my lips! It's such a nice texture and formula! It doesn't dry my lips out and it's a nice neutral shade. A nice colour for the spring time!

Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing lip colour balm Pudgy Peony - I adore this colour! It's been a favourite of mine for ages. I love the pinkness of it and I love that it stains your lips so even after the lipstick has gone, your lip is still the same colour! I also love the feel of this on my lips - it is moisturising!

Ghost Moonlight - has become my go to fragrance!! It "is a perfume that is described as floral and citrus in nature, with its intriguing blend of gourmand notes creating an aroma that best suits the woman who is mysterious and seductive". Well I wouldn't call myself mysterious and seductive, but I have got many compliments when wearing this perfume!

What is in your makeup bag currently? I'd love to hear and would also love to hear any recommended products!!
xx
