Everyday Makeup Look

I love reading other peoples "everyday makeup" posts, as it often gives me inspiration and/or new products to try out.  The last post about my everyday makeup was back in June, of last year (that sounds so weird to say! Seriously time is passing way too quickly!!)
Seeing as it has been so long since I did an "everyday makeup", I thought I would do an updated version with the products I wear on a day to day basis. Not much has changed since that post, other than a few little things, as I'm quite boring when it comes to makeup - because I seem to get stuck in my comfort zone and like my makeup a certain way. I'm not brave enough to get out there and try something different! I also have been a good girl and recently not been buying any new products!

Although they aren't pictured, the Real Techniques* core collection makeup brushes have become essential, since getting them for Christmas last year. All that is on my wish list now is to get the eye makeup brushes too!

NYX Studio Perfect Photo-Loving Primer - before trying this product, I was using the more expensive version by Smashbox. I ran out of that one and discovered the NYX dupe, which honestly, I love just as much! I love the texture it gives to my skin, it smooths it out and gives it a matte finish. I apply this after doing my skincare routine. I use it in the colour clear, though you can get it in green and purple. I helps keep my foundation in place for a little longer

Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation - This has to be my favourite foundation that I've used in the whole time I've been wearing foundation (and I've tried many!) It's only SPF 10 but gives full coverage, that stays in place for a long time - especially with the primer underneath. It gives my skin a flawless look and covers up any redness. I can barely feel it on my skin. As I never really wear a concealer (purely because I haven't found one I really like nor can I get the colour matched right), this foundation is brilliant.

No.7 Perfect Light Translucent Powder - I had this lying around in my makeup spares and thought I would go back to using it for the time being! I haven't quite found a powder that I really like - so if anyone has any suggestions!

Maybelline Master Sculpt - I still have yet to master the contouring. I'm trying and for the first attempts at it, I thought this would be best! I define my cheekbones by sweeping the contour in the hollows of my cheeks, forehead and temples. Then use the highlight across the tops of my cheek bones.

Clinique Cheek Pop -  My all time favourite blush!! After reading so many blog posts about it, I had to get it! It's baked as opposed to loose powder so you don't get much coming off into the air and the colours are just gorgeous! I apply it to the apples of my cheeks and it gives me a healthy glow!

Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer - I first tried this (along with the foundation primer) when I got a little gift set last year. Honestly, I love it! It really does what it says, my eye shadow now stays in place all day, and I really notice it, if I wear shadow without having the primer on first.

NYX Tinted Brow Mascara - I've tried several brow products, from Tanya Burr cosmetics to Clinique brow pencil and so far NYX is my favourite product. I brush this through my brows and it gives them a lovely colour and definition.

W7 In the Nude, Natural Nudes - Urban Decay Naked Palette dupe! And it is a gorgeous palette! I absolutely love the colours and the textures of these eyeshadows and I don't go anywhere without them! They are highly pigmented and blend easily! I often apply either Angel or Copper Pot across the whole of my lid then apply Bad Manners to the outer corners and blend. I often take Latte and pop it in the inner corners as a highlight.

Bourjois Liner Feutre - this isn't featured in the pictures above as I completely forgot about it as it was hiding in my makeup roll. I love this eyeliner as it's easy to use (it's like a pen so easy to control) and long lasting when you want to create the flick!

Urban Decay Perversion - I have trouble with whatever mascara I wear, with it ending up walking down my face! (If you have any tips to stop this it would be much appreciated!) I love to get long, spidery lashes and have tried so many different mascaras. I'm currently on a little test mascara of this one (all i think you really need, as I don't know about you, but I end up throwing half of the mascara away) and I'm loving it! It gives me the desired lash look I'm after.

I never really wear lipstick - one because I play the flute and can't play with stuff on my lips and two because I can't actually seem to put it on correctly!
