Raspberry Bircher Muesli


Over the last couple of weeks, I've been changing up my breakfasts a little bit. There's nothing wrong with good old cereal, but I was getting a bit bored of cornflakes. So I found this Bircher Muesli recipe and have been eating it since then. It's very healthy and fills you up for the morning ahead. It stops me snacking. It's vegetarian, low in fat, full of folate and fibre and full of vitamin c.

I put it with different fruits and yoghurt!
 Here's the recipe: 
It serves two, but I can get a lot more servings out of that.


70g of porridge oats
2tbsp of golden linseeds
2tbsp of chia seeds
140g of frozen raspberries
200ml of hot water

1. Tip the oats and seeds into a bowl
2. Pour over the boiling water and stir well
3. Add the raspberries and mash together
4. Cover and chill overnight - this makes the oats and seeds easier to digest, with creamy muesli
5. The next day serve with yoghurt and berries

I chose blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and cherries. 

I also served it with a chopped up banana and a glass of apple and mango juice. 

It is a yummy breakfast and I think everyone should try it!
