Forest Walk!

This weekend has been very busy! It started on Friday with going to see Greg's 3rd Year Recital up at the Royal College of Music in London. I think I was more nervous than him and all I was doing was watching him! I'm very, very proud of him!!

We had to get up at 6am and were on the tube by 7am! A very early start and we were very tired (and hungry by the time it was half 10).

Early morning antics on the train!

We had a very late breakfast/brunch with two of his friends, in Starbucks on Gloucester Road, then headed to the pub for a little while. We all, also played a game of pool. Greg and I won, which is a miracle because I was on his team - but I actually managed to pot 4 of the balls, I was very happy!!

The Albert Hall is such a beautiful building!

I drove home that night, but drove back again on Saturday. Greg and I decided to go have a picnic in the forest and then to have a little walk. It was really nice even though it was a bit chilly and cloudy! It was nice to get out of the house and do something together. Especially after how hard he has worked in the lead up to his recital.

We ended up having our picnic in the car - which I actually really like! I used to do it a lot when I was younger, with my family on holiday! Particularly when it rained. I think it'll always be a fun thing to do! Park up somewhere nice and enjoy the view!

You can guarantee that Greg will always pick up a branch to use as a walking stick, whenever we go through the forest!

There was a cute little stream running through this part of the forest!

I was trying to get a nice photo of the two of us, smiling because there rarely is one! But nope - Greg said he was smiling behind my head! He promised!

Hope you had a good weekend!
