Five on Friday - 10/06/16

12:30

It's that time of the week again! Another Five on Friday - it could be five things you are currently loving or just five things that are on your mind this week. I'm linking up with Carolina CharmA. Liz AdventuresHello! Happiness and The Good Life Blog again for another edition of Five on Friday! Just add the logo at the bottom and join the party!

Here are the five things on my mind this week:

[One]

Baking

This week has been filled with A LOT of baking - especially of cupcakes. This is because it was Greg's birthday yesterday and I baked him two batches of cupcakes; two of his favourite types of cakes - Carrot and Lemon! It gave me a perfect excuse to try out my skills as a baker. I enjoy it and the cakes went down well.

[Two]

Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation

I've been using tester pots of this for a while now. On Tuesday, I finally took the plunge and bought it! I'm so happy with it! The packaging is just so beautiful and I love the fact it's in a glass bottle. I love this foundation because it goes on so smoothly and also does stay in place all day!! It has such a nice feel on my face that I forget it is actually on my face!

[Three]

Getting my eyebrows threaded

Ouchies! It hurt a lot! It was only the second time I've had them threaded, the first being just before mum's wedding in December. It's worth the pain as the end result is amazing!! I love the shape and how tidy my eyebrows now are!

[Four]

Nike Air Max

My bargain Nike Air Max from my outlet shopping the other day! They look nice and they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! I went into London last Saturday for a flute lesson, over in Marylebone. I had to stand up for a long period of time and also wasn't sure whether I'd be able to get a seat on the tube - though I knew I would on the way out because I got on at the terminating station. My feet didn't hurt by the end of the day and they were still snug in the shoe. It felt like they were being hugged!

[Five]

The Sunnier Weather

It's been getting sunnier and hotter this week - of course because everyone has gone back to school after half term. Not me though! XD It's nice to finally see the sun and the hotter weather because last week was freezing and it's JUNE! :O It means I can start wearing dresses and sandals (when I'm not working, of course!) I love it! And it means you can hang washing on the line!

Love,

Victoria xx
