It's Christmas!!!!!

It's so very nearly Christmas - 8 days to go! I'm done with Uni Assessments (finally finished today) and ready to start being festive! I am beginning to get really excited for Christmas - and for the first time in quite some time my sister and I are spending Christmas with our dad and his sister's family. We haven't spent a Christmas with our dad since about 2009, I think? I'm not quite sure but I know it's been a very long time!!

I'm the last one left in the flat as the other girls have gone home - so I'm not feeling Christmassy here anymore as we have taken all the decorations down and dismantled the tree. I've got two more nights of being in Chichester before I head back home. I'm quite excited to see the Pixiecat!! And I get to drive again!! I can't believe I have done a whole term of uni already. It's crazy!! It's going soooo fast, way quicker than school ever went. I'm excited to see my family, been away from home for 3 months! It's all go from Sunday onwards as my mum is getting married next Wednesday!!

Chichester gets really festive at Christmas - the lights get turned on in town at the end of November and it's a big deal! The Dean of the Cathedral blesses the tree and then the lights are turned on, followed by fireworks coming from behind the Cathedral. It's so beautiful! Then the week just gone there was a big Christmas market!

For the first time EVER - I'm actually organised for Christmas and have got everyone's presents and cards sorted. It makes me very, very happy.
Top tip though for wrapping paper - DON'T EVER GET ANY PAPER THAT IS GLITTERY!!!

To get me even more in the Christmas spirit here's the Christmas Tag:

1) Favourite Christmas movie?
-I'm not really sure. Quite possibly The Santa Clause movies! I made Greg watch all three with me this week!

2) Are you on the Naughty list or the Nice list?
-I'd hope that I'm on the Nice list - I'm pretty sure I'm on the nice list

3) Have you ever had a White Christmas?
-Unfortunately not, because England tends not to get snow. And when it does it usually snows in January or February. It's snowed on Easter before.

4) Where do you usually spend your holiday?
-I usually spend my holiday with family at home, it's just a tradition. Its the following days we tend to go and visit other people

5) Play or sing your favourite Christmas song!
-I'll post it instead:

6) Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
-No. We were never allowed to open any presents on Christmas Eve - always waited until Christmas day

7) Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
-Dasher, Dancer, Comet and Vixen, Cupid, Prancer, Donner, Blitzen and of course poor old Rudolf (I know this because once upon a time I knew 'The Night before Christmas' off by heart)

8) What holiday tradition are you looking forward to most this year?
-Is this the general holiday tradition or my family's tradition? I'm looking forward to getting a new Christmas tree decoration

9) Hands down, what's your all-time favourite holiday food and holiday sweet treat?
-Christmas dinner and Lebkuchen

10) Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
-I like giving gifts because you can see how happy it makes other people when they open the presents you have chosen

11) What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
-Somewhere snowy and very Christmassy

12) Does your family have a special holiday recipe you like to help make?
-No they don't have any special holiday recipe

13) Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
-I failed miserably to wrap all my friends presents this year - but I blame that on the fact I was sat on the floor with minimal space. As soon as I sat at the desk and did it, the presents are looking fab!

14) What made you realise the truth about Santa?
-Seeing the present in my mum's room the night before Christmas

Merry Christmas!!
