Meet Pixie!

I am missing Pixie so much whilst being here in Chichester. You can't just Skype your pets so it's harder. She knows I'm 'there' somewhere but she just doesn't look at the screen at all. She hears me and her little ears prick up, she looks around then starts meowing!! It's really sweet but makes me miss her so much more because I can't give her a cuddle and a stroke. I've posted pictures before because she's too funny not to share with the world. She's a crazy little cat!!

1. What is your pets name?
Pixie, as I've mentioned before, because when we were thinking of names, for some reason Pixie Lott came to mind. Possibly because Pixie Lott's real name is Victoria but I'm not entirely sure why it popped into my head.

2. What kind of pet is it and what breed?
Well Pixie is a cat! Technically she is a moggy, but she is partly Norwegian Forest! Which is why she is a very good tree climber, has very large ears and little tufts between her 'toes' (if that's the right word for it)

3. How long have you had your pet?
We will have had her 3 years in January

4. How did you get your pet?
She was a Christmas present to my mum from one of her students. Thought Mum didn't believe the student when they said that they were going to give her a cat. A very strange gift to a teacher, don't you think?

5. How old is your pet?
She is 3 and a half (I think)

6. What are some quirky things about your pet's personality?
She likes to act like a dog and runs to see the post and to see you when you walk through the door. She is also attached to two toys one we have called mousey and the other ratty. Both of which she carries around with her in her mouth and gives to us as a present, meowing so we know that she's brought it to us. Better than live ones, of course.

7. What does your relationship with your pet mean to you?
The relationship with Pixie means a lot to me. Because ever since we've had her she's been there in the house. You're never alone. She likes to make sure that you're still alive and climbs all over you wanting cuddles. She also decided that she likes to sleep on my bed, so the majority of the time I'm at home she slept on my bed all night.

8. What are some of your favourite past times with your pet?
You can't really do much with a cat, it's not like you can put them on a lead and take them for a walk. Though saying that I saw someone in Chichester recently walking their cat.

9. What are nicknames you call your pet?
Pixiecat, Pix, Cat, Squeak, Boofles
